Questions, answered
Is SeekForHelp free for clients?
Yes. Posting a job, getting quotes and chatting with pros are all free, and you’re never obliged to hire. Pros pay us to accept jobs; clients pay us nothing.
How do I pay the pro?
You pay the pro directly for the work, on the terms you agree with them in the app.
How are pros verified?
We check each pro’s identity and review their licences and insurance. Services that require a licence or insurance only go to pros whose documents our team has verified.
Can I get help in Chinese?
Yes. The app comes in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, and jobs are matched with pros who speak Cantonese, Mandarin or English.
Which areas do you cover?
We serve the Greater Vancouver Area: Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, the Tri-Cities, the North Shore, New Westminster, Delta, Langley and White Rock.
I’m a pro. How do credits work?
You buy credits in the Pro app and spend them when you respond to a job, before the client decides who to hire. The cost is shown before you respond. At most three pros can respond to each job, and urgent jobs are open to just one. Credits aren’t returned because the client hires someone else, but if a job falls through (for example, the client cancels), our team can review a credit return.
